Scope

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for events hosted on EventOS. It applies to ticket purchases and registrations facilitated through the Platform.

Organizer-controlled refunds

  • Refund rules for ticket cancellations are set by each event organizer and may vary by event and ticket type.
  • Before purchasing, read the event page and any event-specific cancellation or refund terms published by the organizer.
  • For refund requests tied to a specific event, contact the organizer first. EventOS can help route requests but does not unilaterally override organizer policies except where required by law or payment-provider rules.

Event cancelled, postponed, or changed

  • If an event is cancelled, postponed, suspended, or delayed, the organizer is responsible for updating attendees and handling refunds according to their published policy and applicable law.
  • EventOS is not automatically liable for losses caused by organizer cancellations or schedule changes.
  • It is your responsibility to check whether an event has been cancelled or rescheduled. We will use reasonable efforts to surface organizer-authorized notices when the organizer updates the event on EventOS.
  • We do not guarantee that every ticket holder will be notified before the original event date, because organizers control event status and communications.

Failed or duplicate payments

If a payment succeeds in the rare case that inventory sold out at the same moment, or a technical failure prevents ticket issuance, the purchase may be cancelled and refunded to the original payment method according to payment-provider timelines.

Refund timelines

When a refund is approved and initiated, payment providers typically take several business days (often about 5–10 working days) for funds to appear on the original payment method. Exact timing depends on the bank or card network.

Platform subscription fees

Fees paid to EventOS for organizer plans or Platform services are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in an order form or Pricing terms.

Contact

Event refunds: contact the event organizer using the details on the event site or confirmation email. Platform billing questions: support@eventos.com.
